Paul Tripp Lays Out a Gospel-Centered Approach to Restoration After a Leadership Crisis

How should churches respond when a pastor's moral failings are brought to light? Immediately replace him? Rush to repair his image and send him back to work? Scripture presents a different way, calling the body of Christ to care for their leader's spiritual health above all else. When a crisis hits and emotions are running high, what the church needs is a path to a pastor's personal restoration.

In this practical guide, pastor and biblical counselor Paul David Tripp reminds readers that leaders are imperfect sinners who have been called by God to ministry, and equips churches to support them with the same Christ-like compassion that all believers need. Following the apostle Paul's instructions in Galatians 6, Tripp models how to restore fallen leaders "in a spirit of gentleness." The third book in his trilogy for pastors and church leaders, Restore is an essential follow-up to Dangerous Calling and Lead, showing churches how to move forward with patience, discipline, and selfless love when their leaders fall.

• Practical Advice for Confronting Sin in Church Leadership: Gives congregations a clear, biblical path forward after a leadership crisis
